The head of the Kuwaiti Federation of Owners of Domestic Labor Offices Khaled Al-Dakhnan said the federation is keen to educate citizens, residents and office owners, on the rights and duties of household workers to prevent disputes and problems between both parties.
Al-Dakhnan told Al-Qabas Arabic daily, on the sidelines of his meeting with the Filipino Labor Consul in Kuwait, Nasser Mustafa, that the two sides have agreed to organize a joint workshop for the benefit of domestic labor offices with particular emphasis on articles of Law 68 of 2015.
Al-Dakhnan said officers from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Embassy will meet this month, to review the latest developments related to the terms of the memorandum of understanding and update it if necessary.
