The International Day of Families provides an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting them. On International Day of Families, a series of awareness-raising events are held in many countries, as this day is an opportunity to highlight different areas of interest and importance related to families on 15 May every year.
The Kindergarten wing of Bhavan’s Smart Indian School (SIS) observed International Family Day with delight.
A talk highlighted the importance of being blessed with a family, then the students stood before the class to talk about the members of their family and also about the person whom they love the most.
At the end of the day, they made a card in the shape of a house and drew representations of their family.
