The statistics issued by the General Traffic Department headed by Major General Youssef Al-Khadda said 27,222 traffic violations were issued and 20 juveniles were arrested for driving without a license from Aug 5 to Aug 11 and an expatriate was administratively deported for driving without a license.
During the campaign traffic patrols also impounded 295 vehicles and 29 motorcycles, seized, four vehicles reported stolen, arrested 22 violators of residence law and referred them to the concerned authorities.
