On behalf of the European Union (EU), I have the honor to convey our heartiest congratulations to the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Government and great people of Kuwait on the occasions of the 60th anniversary of National Day and 30th anniversary of Liberation Day. I am proud of the EU’s strong relationship with the State of Kuwait. Our friendship goes a long way back and we are looking forward to further enhancing our cooperation.
Since the opening of the EU Delegation in 2019, our joint efforts have intensified in the fields of political dialogue, trade and investment, security, humanitarian assistance, international development cooperation, green and digital transformations.
I am sure that we are going to see a remarkable new momentum in our unique relationship, in the years to come. Together, we can achieve our ambitious goals for the people of the EU and Kuwait, especially since we share many values and interests.
