The Acting Director of Kuwait University, Dr. Suad Al-Fadhli, has formed a working group to study the proposal of establishing a branch of the university in the King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia.
The team, according to a local Arabic daily, is headed by Dr Al-Fadhli with the Secretary-General of the University as a Rapporteur, and vice-rectors for planning, scientific affairs, research, and academic support services as members.
The team is responsible for studying the establishment of the branch from all legal, financial and academic aspects, and its impact on enhancing the classification of Kuwait University among the international institutions for the general benefit of the university.
