The President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, expressed his condolences tonight to the people of Kuwait, following the death of Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. “The region has lost one of its finest statesmen and a longstanding advocate of peace and stability,” he tweeted.
