The Cabinet meeting has ended without important decisions being taken after the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies held a meeting on Thursday, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, during which the participants in the meeting reviewed the latest reports received from the health authorities.
The members listened to an explanation from a number of government agencies officials on the spread of the new mutant ‘Omicron’ all over the world.
Nonetheless, senior government sources say the epidemiological situation in Kuwait is good, and that an increase in infections is expected in light of the recent significant escalation of infections around the world.
