Electronic agricultural services launching soon on Sahel

The Director-General of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, Mishaal Al-Qarifa, announced that it will soon launch electronic services to facilitate the completion of the transactions of breeders and farmers. The Arab daily said that the move is in line with the plan of the state and the Council of Ministers, as well as the direction of the Minister of Municipality, Abdulaziz Al-Moajil, pointing out that these services will be provided through the authority’s website in addition to the mobile app.

Al-Qarifa added that the services will be launched after completion of its features to guarantee that its users complete their transaction, as well as save the time and hassle of going to the authority’s institutions. It also aims to ease the crowds and queues, thwarting any nepotism and favors in the process.

Furthermore, the official said that among the services included are disbursing of fodder, booking vaccination appointments, submitting correspondence to government or municipal agencies, booking appointments for other transactions, obtaining vaccination certificates, submitting applications for agricultural vouchers and breeding holdings, renewing licenses and identities, obtaining import and export permits, and applying over all of the Authority’s practices.
