The Ministry of Education has slapped a ban on metal water thermos used by students inside schools after one of the students assaulted his classmate with the thermos and the victim had to be rushed to the intensive care unit last week.
An educational source told the daily these thermoses are rejected in some schools for boys only, but the decision to ban them now includes all educational stages in schools for boys and girls.
