$4.9 billion, the volume of e-commerce in Kuwait by the end of 2021

Hind Al-Nahedh, head of the Global Electronic Media Club in Kuwait expects e-commerce industry to continue its upward trend in sales by reaching nearly $6.4 billion by 2024, saying the total e-commerce sales will reach about $4.9 billion by the end of 2021.

Al-Anba quoting Al-Nahedh added the growth during the next year through electronic platforms may witness the entry of new products, as the demand for “drones” used in delivery operations will rise so that it will become an urgent need to overcome the difficulties facing global trade, including delays in import and export operations which led to inflation in product prices.

Al-Nahedh added that ‘VOICE SHOPPING’ operations will witness a greater development through various websites, which will contribute to increasing demand, as it will provide a quick search for various products through various different websites, in addition to the process of green and environmentally conscious consumption, which are products free of harmful materials and can be recycled without harming the environment so that the concern for the environment is now reflected on consumers, which will push them to acquire and consume environmentally friendly products.
