Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested a drug dealer during an ambush in Mahboula and found on his person 11 sachets of shabu.
The Al-Anba daily quoting a security source said the security authorities acted on confidential information about an Asian was involved in trafficking in drugs.
CID men then sent a secret police agent to buy drugs from the suspect and caught him in the act following which detectives raided his hideout and seized the sachets of drugs.
