The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Faisal Al-Medlej, issued a ministerial decision to add several modern commercial activities to the unified directory of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which included Drive-In cinema theaters, Al Qabas reported.
The sources told the daily that Drive-In Cinema is a temporary solution on the road to normal life. The cinema sector was severely damaged in the past period. Drive-In Cinema will allow people to watch movies while fully adhering to health conditions.
It is noteworthy that Kuwait preceded all Arab countries, when it launched the first cinema in the country in October 1974, with a foreign film “The Chinese Are Coming”,
