On the occasion of Kuwait’s 58th National Day and 28th Liberation Day it is my distinct pleasure and honor to convey the most sincere congratulations to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak Al-Hamad Al- Sabah and the friendly people of Kuwait
I would especially like to extend my wishes of good health and wellbeing to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, who has been successfully leading the State since 2006. I am pleased that the Kuwait government and people are achieving the great successes in the works of ensuring the country safety and stability, social unity and harmony and also developing many fields such as economy, military, education and culture under the wise leadership of His Highness. Kuwait is respected by many world countries as they maintain their foreign policy based on the main principles such as respecting the objectives of the UN Charter, non-intervention and to settle the disputes between the countries in a peaceful way.
As a result, Kuwait occupies the non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council for 2018-2019. I am appreciated His Highness Amir is doing his best to unite the GCC Countries and strengthen the Arab common actions and develop the relations with the world peace-loving countries and he meditates the conflict between the regional and international countries through peaceful dialogue.
In particularly, His Highness Amir bestowed upon the title of “Humanitarian leader” and designated Kuwait as an “International Humanitarian Center” awarded by supplying the humanitarian supports to the countries in facing the natural disasters. On the occasion of this bright holiday I wish continuous progress, prosperity and peace to the friendly people of Kuwait and I believe that the relations of the friendship and cooperation between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the State of Kuwait will continue to further develop towards mutual prosperity for the benefit of two countries and people.
