After being late for days, the first flight (Kuwait Airways) for the return of domestic workers from India is scheduled for Wednesday, followed by another flight (Jazeera Airways) on Friday reports, Al Qabas quoting sources.
The source emphasized the delay in the start of the return of domestic workers’ flights from India was due to the Indian civil aviation authorities’ request for the participation of Indian carriers to transport passengers, similar to the Kuwaiti national carriers.
The source indicated that the Kuwaiti and Indian civil aviation authorities agreed to allocate a quota for the number of domestic workers coming from India to Kuwait, by 400 passengers per day, including 200 passengers for the national carriers (Kuwait – Al Jazeera), and 200 passengers for Indian carriers.
