Deputy Director-General of the Fisheries Sector, Marzouq Al-Azmi, confirmed that the appearance of dolphins in Kuwaiti waters during this period is a natural phenomenon, noting that their appearance in Kuwait Bay, near Failaka Island, Khairan, Al-Zour, and other areas is evidence of the abundance of fish in Kuwait waters because dolphins eat fishes, Al-Rai daily reported.
Al-Azmi pointed out that dolphins are peaceful and they generally do not harm anyone, and they also swim away from the beaches.
