A doctor was attacked by a visitor at a clinic in Jaber Al-Ahmad City, Al Qabas reported. The incident started when the doctor of the unnamed clinic refused to grant the visitor a sick leave because his data did not match the data in the doctor’s computer system. The visitor became angry and beat the doctor. The paper added that the doctor filed a police report and reported the incident to the Ministry of Health, indicating that the ministry has set strict instructions for doctors to verify the data of anyone who requests for a medical examination.
