A number of members of the diplomatic corps working in Kuwait praised the efforts made in the fifth annual official exhibition of the Expo 965 team and the accompanying forums aimed at preserving Kuwaiti heritage.
On the second day of the forum, the UAE Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Matar Al Neyadi, visited the pavilions and stalls of the participants, praising the Gulf participation in the exhibition, and the participation of members of the Emirati delegation.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on the sidelines of his tour of the exhibition, “I congratulate this artistic and heritage demonstration for Kuwait, and it is an exhibition that reflects the civilization and history of Kuwait.”
The Iranian envoy expressed his pleasure in attending the exhibition, which gives an image of the Kuwaiti people’s culture, authenticity, and interest in arts and crafts.
He pointed out that “his country has commonalities with Kuwait, there is a common heritage and civilization, and our two peoples have many arts in which they intersect.”
In turn, the founder of the team, Muhammad Ali Kamal, said that the second day of the exhibition, sponsored by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahd, witnessed the presence of representatives of various government agencies and civil society, led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Maha Al-Asousi, on behalf of the Minister of Electricity and Water and Sheikha Anisa Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
Kamal stated that the second day witnessed, in the morning, lectures entitled “Craft industries at the heart of industrial creativity,” “Caps from the history of Kuwait,” “Photos from the history of Kuwait,” “The role of training in completing youth projects,” and “Utilizing Kuwaiti heritage and handicrafts in development projects” and a group of workshops on making old Kuwaiti heritage toys, and the foundations and skills of turning rosaries, with a large public presence in both periods.
