The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) said the department is waiting for the Civil Service Commission to approve the list of its employees who are shortlisted to receive the ‘frontline’ awards.
The frontline awards are paid to people who helped fight the Covid-19 pandemic putting their lives at risk. The list includes the names of officers and members of the force including civilians.
The sources indicated the list includes the names of four thousand personnel.
