The Ministry of Communications has issued a decision to regulate the rents of the leased spaces inside and outside the ministry buildings and vacant spaces. The decision forbids the tenant from exploiting adjacent vacant spaces, subletting and/or using them as warehouses, and the presence of authorized employees at the Liberation Tower.
The decision indicates all the Ministry’s buildings are prepared for rent, including offices, devices, cabins, towers, antennas and vacant lands inside and outside the buildings provide all required documents are intact, reports a local Arabic daily.
The decision says the Ministry of Communications leases out various spaces available inside and outside the ministry buildings and government institutions for companies wishing to rent these spaces in return for sums of money paid to the ministry on a monthly basis in accordance with the previous and subsequent laws and ministerial decisions that regulate the rental process.
The decision also indicates in the event of the tenant’s failure to comply with the terms of the license, decisions or specific instructions, the Ministry has the right to take appropriate legal measures against the violator.
