On the auspicious occasion of the 61st Anniversary of the National Day and the 31st Anniversary of the Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait, I have the pleasure to express to the friendly people of Kuwait my warmest congratulations and best wishes for continued peace and constant progress and prosperity.
Our two moderate countries enjoy longstanding ties of friendship and have established close cooperation built on common experiences such as that of invasion and occupation, shared values, mutual respect and understanding and respect to international law.
Today these bonds are stronger than ever, as exemplified by the recent successful visit of H.E. Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs to Cyprus, which constituted a milestone in the development of our bilateral relations. The said visit has given further impetus for the excellent relations to continue to prosper and intensify and has set the framework for our future cooperation in the post-pandemic era.
As Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the State of Kuwait, I would like to assure of my willingness and determination to work with dedication to further enhance our bilateral relations for the benefit of our two peoples.
