The General Administration of Customs announced its intention to hold a public auction on Wednesday (Oct 5) to sell 2,598 cartons of various brands of cigarettes, in addition to various types of goods including shredded iron and “export pipe links” at 4:00 pm at Bait Al Mal in Sulaibiya on Sixth Ring Road.
The sources indicated that it is permissible to cancel or postpone the auction for any reason it deems appropriate and its right to stop or postpone the sale in the event of not obtaining the appropriate price or for any reasons that it deems inconsistent with its interest, pointing out that the auctioneer is obliged to pay the value of the goods via K-Net only before collecting the goods from the Bait Al-Mal control headquarters within 5 days of the sale.
