Kuwaiti Civil Service Commission (CSC) directed on Sunday all government agencies to bar employees placed under any form of quarantine to start work. CSC said in a statement posted on the social media account “twitter” that the ban is applicable to Kuwaiti and expat employees, noting that the decision is in compliance with the mandatory quarantine declared by the Health Ministry.
Salaries’ payment will continue as regular to all Kuwaiti and expat employees under all kinds of compulsory quarantine and their absence from work will not affect their employment status, read the circular.
