The Civil Service Commission has issued Circular No. (4) of 2022 detailing the decision of the Council of Ministers to return the regular normal working hours in all government agencies, starting from Sunday, March 13, provided that it begins and ends on the same times that were applicable in each institution before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The CSC said on Twitter, according to the circular, meetings, conferences and internal courses will be re-convened with personal attendance of the participants, starting from Sunday, February 20, and all government agencies will be briefed to abide by the decision of the Council of Ministers.

The CSC added the new circular cancels the earlier CSC circular No. 2 – about reducing the number of employees in government institutions, flexible working hours, and holding meetings, conferences and courses remotely.

The CSC clarified all cases of exemption from work are also cancelled in addition to canceling the flexible working systems and the rotation system and returning to work in full work force (100 percent). The CSC also stated the institutions return to the fingerprint attendance system in accordance with the legal decision issued in this regard.
