CSC decides to end services of advisors

The Civil Service Council has decided to end the services and expertise of all advisors working in ministers’ offices and government institutions. This comes after the decree forming the previous government expired.

Informed sources told Al-Qabas daily that the Civil Service Bureau has informed all ministries and government agencies to work to end the use of the expertise of all, whether retired or non-retired, who seek help from their expertise outside official working hours in their original workplaces and workers in the offices of ministers or their affiliated agencies.

The sources confirmed that the CSC notified the ministries that the date of the end of the use of the expertise of those covered by the Civil Service decision would be from June 17, noting that many agencies had already informed their advisors of the decision.

The sources indicated that in the event the competent minister wishes to seek the assistance of any of the experienced and qualified retirees to work in any of his affiliated agencies, then the matter requires addressing the CSC separately.
