CSC allows Kuwaitis to combine work with study inside Kuwait

The Civil Service Council held a meeting, Wednesday, at the Seif Palace, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, and Acting Chairman of the Civil Service Council, Issa Al-Kandari.

The head of the Civil Service Bureau, Dr. Essam Al-Rubaian, said after the meeting, in order to enhance the role of administrative oversight and ensure good adherence to the implementation of the provisions and decisions of the CSC by all ministries and government agencies, it has been decided to approve the amendment to the organizational structure of CSC, which includes separating the affairs of each sector, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Dr Al-Rubaian added that the Civil Service Council decided to approve shift allowance to those in supervisory jobs in some government institutions.

He pointed out that the Civil Service Council has also decided to allow the Kuwaiti employees to combine work with study inside the State of Kuwait, to ensure fulfillment of the Kuwaiti employee’s ambition to complete his education and at the same to ensure his commitment to work.

He explained that during the meeting, many other issues related to the civil service were discussed.
