The coronavirus deaths in the US surpassed Wednesday 100,000 as it leads globally in the number of coronavirus cases and deaths.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the coronavirus deaths nationwide reached 100,047 whereas the confirmed cases reached 1,695,776.
New York is the epicenter of the coronavirus with 364,965 confirmed cases and 29,370 reported deaths.
Furthermore, California has become the fourth state in the US with over 100,000 confirmed coronavirus cases, along with New York, New Jersey and Illinois.
