In the context of strengthening of community immunity, vaccination centers begin, as of today, to receive those wishing to receive the booster dose of the “Covid-19” vaccine from the age of 40 and above without prior appointment, while the number of recipients of this dose reached 750,000, compared to 3,263,000 received the second while 3,373,000 received the first.
Health sources revealed to Al-Rai that the aforementioned group can receive the booster dose in all vaccination centers, whether in primary care centers or the Kuwait Vaccination Center in the exhibition grounds in the Mishref area or through the Jaber Bridge Center, without prior appointment.
This comes as the epidemiological situation index continued its positive path, with the number of daily infections with the Corona virus dropping below the 4 thousand barrier, for the first time in about a month, as the last number recorded under this barrier was on January 10, with 3,683 infections.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 3,989 infections, compared to 5,022 cases of recovery, while clinical occupancy remained with 91 cases recorded in “intensive care” and 514 in “wards.”
