The Ahmadi security forces arrested a citizen in Mahboula who was impersonating a police officer to rob expatriates, Al-Anbaa daily reported. The suspect has a criminal record and was found in possession of a vest, a blue flasher, and forged military identities. The suspect admitted to impersonating a security officer and robbing expatriates, and has been taken to the General Department of Criminal Investigation for investigation.
Similarly in Mahboula, a citizen and two Syrian expats were arrested in a state of drug abuse. They were also caught in possession of narcotic substances, an air weapon, and drug paraphernalia. Meanwhile, on the Nuwaiseeb road, three citizens were arrested for speeding. They were similarly found in possession of six bags of chemicals, a bag of ashes, narcotic pills, four hashish cigarettes, and drug paraphernalia. All six suspects were referred to the General Administration for Drug Control.
The deployment of the Ahmadi security men came under the instructions of the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Abdullah Al-Rajeeb, and under the leadership of the Director General of Ahmadi Security, Brigadier General Muhammad Mutlaq Al-Mutairi.
