Ministry of Commerce and Industry said a consumer cannot be compelled to buy what he/she does not wish to buy unless that particularly commodity is offered free along with the commodity that is purchased.
On its Twitter account, the Ministry of Commerce said it is not permissible to charge an amount higher than the advertised price for the commodity in the name of offering a free product, reports a local Arabic daily.
