The “Consumer Protection” sector of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said the consumer has the right to return goods such such as jewelry, watches, evening and wedding clothes, glasses and perfumes within five days of the date of purchase in case of a technical defect. Al-Jarida quoting sources said there is no condition that the product must be returned within 24 hours unless otherwise specifically mentioned in the purchase invoice.
