The company that operates the gas pipeline in Ukraine said today, Sunday, that the passage of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine continues normally and that the pipeline was not damaged by any explosions.
Ukrainian officials had said earlier that Russian forces had blown up a gas pipeline in Kharkiv in the northeastern region, but it was not clear whether the affected sector was part of the pipeline that transports gas to Europe or from the local distribution network, reports Al-Rai daily.
