Company has no intention to stop production of biscuits

Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company said that biscuit production consumes about 2.5 percent of the total flour produced by the company and there are plans to continue producing biscuits to meet consumer demand, without compromising on the quality of the product.

A local Arabic daily quoting company sources indicated that the percentage of flour used in producing biscuits does not affect the company’s resources.

The sources confirmed that the company officials did not intend to stop the production of biscuits due to the pressures imposed by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, noting that the strategic stock of wheat and flour, in addition to the low percentage consumption of this commodity, does not require stopping the production of biscuits from the company’s factory, which it established in 1970.
