Meteorologist Muhammad Karam warned on Sunday, that Kuwait is on the cusp of a cold wave that begins next Wednesday evening. The temperature is expected to fall to zero degrees in the open and desert areas, and below 4 degrees Celsius in residential areas, Al Qabas reported.
Karam said that the cold wave will continue from Wednesday evening until next Saturday, due to the Siberian air height coming from western Russia, accompanied by northwest winds.
He mentioned that the decrease in temperatures will be noticeable during the evening period, while the maximum temperatures during this period will be 14 degrees Celsius.
