The preventive measures taken by the country have resulted in a decrease of Corona infection rates. Several factors contributed to achieving this noticeable decline, including the increase in the vaccination rate to about 85% of the total population eligible for anti-epidemic vaccinations, in addition to increasing health awareness and avoiding contact with infected people or those showing symptoms of infection.
Health sources said the number of people who received the third booster dose exceeded 917,900 people as of Saturday afternoon, while 3,277,024 people have completed the two doses, while the vaccination campaign continues at the Mishref Vaccination Center and other health centers, with the aim of reaching the campaign goals as soon as possible, says a local Arabic daily.
Last week recorded a noticeable decrease in the daily infection rates compared to the infection cases recorded last January and February, while the recovery rate rose to 98.8% Saturday, amid a decrease in hospitalization rate for Covid patients, compared to the numbers recorded 30 days ago.
