Civil aviation plan succeeds with flights during summer season

The various operational procedures adhering to flight schedules, including the cooperation of partners and airport workers brought about the success of the holiday flights last summer, An Arab daily reported. The Director of Operations at the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Mansour Al-Hashemi , said that the administration has developed a plan since the beginning of the holiday season which contributed to the success of flight schedules and the airport’s operational procedures, noting that the administration has succeeded with its plan alongside existing partners and airport workers, especially the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Interior, service providers and airlines.

Al-Hashemi added in a statement that the plan was in accordance with the time frame and the required entitlements, with the implementation of all operational procedures and facilitating the return of travelers from all destinations.

He added that the time plan was implemented at the beginning of June until the beginning of September, stressing that it was successful, especially with regards to the timetable and schedule allocated for flights and the benefits of passengers given in full without any prejudice, especially traveling from Kuwait Airport and return trips. He also confirmed that the end of the actual summer season will be on the 30th October.
