Citizens told to get replacement for lost or damaged nationality certificate before vote

The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior stated that as part of the preparations for the voting process for the 2023 parliamentary elections on June 6, the General Administration of Nationality and Kuwaiti Travel Documents has called on citizens registered on the electoral lists and who did not but wish to apply for a replacement for a lost or damaged nationality certificate must visit the General Administration of Nationality and Kuwaiti Travel Documents in the Dajeej area in person.

The Al-Rai daily added, the applicant must bring along the original civil card or a recent certificate issued by the Public Authority for Civil Information and 4 personal photos measuring 6×4, during official working hours.

The administration added, no one will be allowed to cast the ballot without the original Kuwaiti nationality certificate or a replacement for a lost or damaged document is obtained.
