Personnel from the Ahmadi Security Directorate have arrested four persons for trafficking in drugs and seized from them marijuana, chemicals and hashish and referred them to the competent authorities.
The daily added, those arrested include a Kuwaiti citizen, two Iranians and an Egyptian. They were caught red-handed selling narcotic substances in the Mahboula and Fintas regions.
A security source said the Iranian was caught at a checkpoint in the Mahboula area, in possession of 3 sachets of hashish and chemicals, in addition to drug use tools. Police also took into custody another Iranian accomplice.
From the Kuwaiti citizen, police seized 3 sachets of marijuana, chemicals and tools for drug use, while the Egyptian was arrested in the Fintas area, and after a failed escape attempt police found in his possession a piece of hashish which he said was for sale.
