Children rejoice at the return of recreational activities after over a year

On Wednesday, children rejoiced with the return of recreational activities in public places, after stopping activities for about a year and a half due to the spread of the Coronavirus, Al-Rai reported.

With eagerness and joy, the children raced to break the barrier of isolation and restored the spirit to the joy of life, as they flocked with their families to entertainment centers in various regions of the country, especially major complexes such as Avenues, 360 and Al Kout.

The Director of the Capital Governorate Municipality Branch, Engineer Badr Abu Ruqabah Al-Otaibi, confirmed during a tour yesterday morning in the Avenues Mall, the keenness of the Kuwait Municipality to be present early on the first day of the return of activities for children and to ensure that everyone adheres to health requirements.

He said that the supervisory teams are present in all the malls where children’s games and restaurants are located.

In the 360 mall, the first day of reopening recreational activities for children seemed as if it was a feast day or an official holiday, although it is a normal day in the middle of the week, as dozens of families flocked with their children, and they all stood in a long line to buy tickets for the games while waiting for more than an hour, the opening of the game center.

And as soon as the doors opened at exactly twelve o’clock in the afternoon, the crowds of families and their children set out as if they were in a race to reserve their places in the game they love, and the children’s laughter rose and the activity returned to them after the closure of recreational activities due to the pandemic.
