Center to support, provide engineering consultations to SMEs

The Society of Engineers and the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises Development has agreed to launch a center to support entrepreneurs and provide them with engineering consultations, within the framework of the memorandum of understanding between the two sides.

This came at the conclusion of a meeting between the President of the Association, Faisal Al-Attal, with the Director of the Fund’s Land and Facilities Department, Dr. Barjas Al-Dosari, and the Director of the Engineering Affairs Department, Engineer Basma Al-Jassim, at the Association’s headquarters, reports Al-Rai daily.

The president of the association stated at the conclusion of the meeting, “We have expressed a willingness to cooperate in the field of training, qualification and development for engineering cadres and to provide engineering consultations to entrepreneurs applying to work under the umbrella of the Fund.”

Al-Attal praised the keenness we saw from the leaders of the Fund to benefit from the expertise enjoyed by the volunteer cadres in the association, calling on all public and private bodies to cooperate with professional non-profit public benefit associations that contribute to supporting the efforts of public and private institutions to achieve human development and open fields for young people especially the engineers.
