Center‌ ‌for‌ ‌India‌ ‌Studies‌ Office‌ ‌Bearers‌‌ ‌meet with Indian Ambassador‌

CIS‌ ‌(Center‌ ‌For‌ ‌India‌ ‌Studies‌ ‌-Kuwait)‌‌ ‌Executive‌ ‌Council‌ ‌ members‌ ‌met with‌ ‌‌Ambassador‌ ‌of‌ ‌India‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌State‌ ‌of‌ ‌Kuwait‌‌ H.E‌ ‌Sibi‌ ‌George‌. CIS‌ ‌delegates‌ ‌‌presented‌ ‌a‌ ‌Bouquet‌ ‌and‌ ‌congratulated‌ the Ambassador ‌on‌ ‌assuming‌ ‌the‌ ‌charge‌ ‌in‌ ‌Kuwait‌ ‌as‌ ‌well‌ ‌as‌ ‌spearheading‌ ‌several‌ ‌pro-community‌ ‌reforms‌ ‌and‌ ‌continuing‌ ‌measures‌ ‌in‌ ‌strengthening‌ ‌cultural,‌ ‌economical‌ ‌and‌ ‌political‌ ‌engagements‌ ‌between‌ ‌India‌ ‌and‌ ‌Kuwait‌.

General‌ ‌Secretary‌ ‌Sreejith‌ ‌A‌ ‌Nair‌ ‌briefed‌ ‌the‌ ‌Profile‌ ‌and‌ ‌Activity‌ ‌Summary‌ ‌of‌ ‌CIS‌ ‌and‌ ‌President‌ ‌Vibheesh‌ ‌Thikkodi‌ ‌presented‌ ‌the‌ ‌future‌ ‌action‌ ‌plans‌ ‌of‌ ‌CIS‌ ‌in‌ ‌detail‌ ‌and‌ ‌‌briefed‌ ‌about‌ ‌the‌ ‌Medical‌ ‌Awareness‌ ‌Program ‌involving‌ ‌eminent‌ ‌specialists.‌ ‌

CIS Advisory Board Chairman Dr Surendra Nayak presented a detailed Report , as part of the ongoing Study  Analysing the Complex Problems and Possibilities of NRIs  inclusive of comprehensive Webinar conducted under the patronage of  Dr. C. V. Anandabose IAS (One Man Expert Commission – Advisory Committee, Ministry of Labour, Government of India) attended by eminent personalities in different sectors.

The Ambassador‌ ‌showed‌ ‌immense‌ ‌interest‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌activities‌ ‌of‌ ‌CIS‌ ‌and‌ ‌appreciated‌ ‌the‌ ‌efforts‌ ‌put‌ ‌by‌ ‌the‌ ‌team‌ ‌as‌ ‌a‌ ‌whole‌.‌ ‌‌Delegates‌ ‌included‌ ‌Vice-President‌ ‌Mahendra‌ ‌Pratapan‌ ‌and‌ ‌Central‌ ‌Executive‌ ‌Council‌ ‌members‌ ‌Sudheer‌ ‌Menon,‌ ‌Ashish‌ ‌Thakur,‌‌ ‌‌Manikant‌ ‌Varma.‌ ‌ CIS‌ ‌assured‌ ‌full‌ ‌support‌ ‌of‌ ‌its‌ ‌very‌ ‌dynamic‌ ‌and‌ ‌professional‌ ‌team‌ ‌in‌ ‌ongoing‌ ‌activities‌ ‌and‌ ‌innovations‌ ‌of‌ ‌Indian‌ ‌Embassy‌ ‌led ‌by‌ ‌the Ambassador ‌in‌ ‌strengthening‌ ‌Indo-Kuwait‌ ‌engagements‌ ‌to‌ ‌new‌ ‌heights.‌ ‌ ‌
