CEE Network Lifestyle Workshops Holds 38th Graduation Ceremony

Community Events and Entertainment Kuwait Lifestyle Workshops held its 38th graduation ceremony Friday afternoon at the Maze Hall of Best Western Plus Hotel in Salmiyah. Twenty students received their certificates from different courses taken and five new chefs were inducted the faculty of chefs and trainers. Five Masterchefs were present and Philippine Vice Consuls Aaron Erick Lozada, Jordan Ysabel Morales, officials of the Philippine Embassy and guests were present in the occasion.

In his inspirational speech, Vice Consul Lozada mentioned that having completed the courses and acquired their skills and knowledge although under pressure from their Masterchefs make each of them diamonds. He encouraged every graduate to continuously discover new avenues in culinary and share their knowledge who they mentor in the future. Vice Consul Lozada also congratulated CEE Network for a job well done! 21 graduates received their certificates from different courses taken and the highlight of the occasion included the investiture and toque ceremony traditional of conferring title of chef to the full graduate as prescribed by the institution. The Masterchefs; Mariel Macalalad, Dave Baliling, Elizabeth Tendenilla, Mariefe Torio and Jay Dan Belleza were present to clad the chefs in their new uniform and Vice Consul Lozada officiating the placing of toques on the head to symbolize the acquisition of the title of chef. The Culinarian Oath immediately followed.

“This is the first time I have attended a graduation of a chef and its so inspiring to see and witness how the ceremony went through. It was never a mistake supporting our household helper to take these classes as we benefit from it, from the products she makes for us now. I encourage other employers to discover these classes for their own gains and somehow empower their workers to enrich themselves with new skills they can use in the future” m commented Dahlia, Kuwaiti employer. Many of the graduates were encouraged to push for the completion of their courses and achieve not only the title but more information and knowledge on other areas of culinary arts.
