The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force stated Friday evening a vehicle was totally destroyed by fire on the Salmi road.
According to a local Arabic daily the occupants of the car escaped unhurt and when the Jahra Fire Station personnel rushed to the site of the accident, they discovered the people who were in the vehicle were standing on the side of the road watching their vehicle engulfed by fire.
The cause of the fire is not known.
