Campaign collects more than 10 million dinars to help debtors: Al-Baghli

Minister of Social Affairs and Community Development, Minister of State for Women and Childhood Affairs, Mai Al-Baghli, announced the national campaign which was launched by the ministry in cooperation with the ministries of Information and Justice and all official authorities with the aim of helping debtors collected more than 10 million dinars from more than 53,700 donors

The campaign kicked off on Sunday and ends Thursday midnight and Al-Baghli in a statement to Al-Jarida daily, Wednesday evening, praised the great efforts made by the concerned authorities.

She expressed her gratitude to all donors, both individuals and private entities, indicating that “the money collected will be used to pay off the debts of many categories of debtors inside Kuwait.”

The campaign will help pay off the debts of debtors and relieve their distress, especially the elderly, women and people with special needs, whose circumstances put them in the grip of debts which they were unable to pay.

“The proceeds of the donations will be sent to the Ministry of Justice to pay off the debts of indebted citizens who actually have files in the Ministry’s Civil Execution Department.”
