Shisha café owners affected by government decisions to ban hookah organized a protest at the Ministry of Health. The government has banned serving hookah to limit the spread of coronavirus, Al-Rai reported.
The protesters demanded the return of activity with the implementation of necessary precautionary measures, including sterilizing hookahs.
Anwar al-Najjar said in front of the Minister of Health’s office that 7,600 cafes have been affected and have suffered a loss of KD 1 Billion in 13 months.
