The Council of Ministers decided during its extraordinary meeting, today, Thursday, headed by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, to impose a partial curfew in all parts of the country, starting on Sunday March 7, from 5 pm until 5 am for a whole month, Al Qabas daily reported.
Coronavirus infections in the past three days recorded a record jump, as the total number of infections during those days reached 4,466 new cases, and 20 deaths.
On February 22, the Cabinet rejected the Health Committee’s proposals to impose a partial curfew in the country, and replaced it with a series of new strict decisions aimed at stopping the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic in the country.
