On the latest developments about exempting Kuwaitis from entry visas to the United Kingdom, the British Ambassador, Belinda Lewis, said the date for the actual application of electronic travel permits will be announced during the first weeks of 2023.
Her Excellency indicated that the decision will facilitate travel for Kuwaitis for tourism purposes and for other specific visits and they will not have to go to the British Visa Center to obtain a visa.
“The abolition of the visa requirement for Kuwaiti citizens who make short-term visits to the United Kingdom during 2023 reflects the long ties of friendship, trade and cooperation between the two countries, as well as strengthening the rapprochement between them, hoping that the decision will enter into force in the near future,” the British envoy added.
