Britain monitors infection with atypical mad cow disease

The World Organization for Animal Health said on Monday that Britain had detected a case of mad cow disease in the southwestern county of Cornwall.

The organization stated in a note, quoting information from the British authorities, that the case of atypical mad cow disease type H was confirmed in a 17-year-old cow at a cow farm, reports Al-Rai daily quoting Reuters,
