A security source has warned the public to be on guard against currency notes particularly while shopping at grocery stores and shopping malls, reports Al-Anbaa daily.
Meanwhile, the Department of Forgery and Counterfeiting is working to identify unknown persons who are believed to be pushing forged Kuwaiti currency in the market in 10 dinars denomination.
A Kuwaiti who was a victim of counterfeit 10 dinars bills says it is very difficult to recognize the money because the currency looks genuine and can be discovered only by close scrutiny.
