The Anti-Money Crimes Department of the Ministry of Interior has called on citizens and residents to be careful and not to respond to requests to download the “Any Desk” application and others for any purpose, or create or receive bank links from this app.
A local Arabic daily said this is in addition to not sharing the OTP code with anyone else following complaints the ministry has received from people who were defrauded by an organized gang members after luring people to invest in international stock exchanges, or buying gold, oil or digital currencies, by downloading the “Any Desk” application.
