The process takes roughly 15 days, and transforms vessels used for drinking water in the past into objects that display beautiful intricate lines of Islamic calligraphy. Shah, who has spent four years honing his craft, takes time to carefully carve each piece by hand so the words are prominently displayed and add to the overall aesthetic of the artistic piece.
